Mechandling Successfully Collaborate With Howorth Air Tech Again!

Once again, Mechandling have collaborated with Howorth Air Tech to produce the perfect High Containment Isolator/Drum Tipping solution.

The customer, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer, required a safe, contained environment for operators to handle a variety of products. Key to the unit’s success is the way the host drum has to be raised to the correct height and then slid horizontally into the docking collar. Although space was tight, Mechandling designed and built a Bespoke GMP Pneumatic Drum Tipper, linked to Howorth’s master control panel, which handles the drum with precision during each operation, so that the docking seal (shown on the video below) can close neatly around the drum, keeping any trace of product completely contained within the dispensing chamber. The results are plain to see from the video – a safe, precise system that delivers everything the customer needs, time and time again.
